Halloween finger puppets

 “what is it?”

 “You’ll have to wait and see”

 “Will you make me something Mammy”

 “If you go to bed and stay in bed, then yes I will”

 “what will you make me”

 “nothing if you don’t get in bed now, ‘cause I won’t have time”

 “ok mammy, night night”

I have had this conversation with my youngest son several times.  But at least I know that someone appreciates the things I make them.   Sometimes I just put some squiggly lines on a toilet roll tube and tell him I made a telescope, but other times, like this one I make a little more effort.  With Halloween fast approaching I decided some Jack ‘o ‘ lantern finger puppets would be just the thing.

Had to spend several hours the next day making them talk to each other, but it was worth it.
