Just Like his Dad

I can't cook!!  scrub that, I can cook, but I hate doing it.  I would much rather spend my time creating something lasting rather than something thats gone in a matter of minutes.  Luckily my other half is more than happy to cook all the meals and loves nothing more than spending hours slaving over a hot stove. I will however spend time baking, I have a real sweet tooth so I love eating cakes.

Our youngest son is showing all the signs of being just like his dad.  He loves helping his dad with the meals and baking cakes with me,  he had an apron, (that came from his cousin, I think) but it was rather girly.  Shopping around I couldn't find a boys apron anywhere, the nearest were plain coloured ones and he wanted something a bit more special than that.

I gave him the choice from my fabric stash and he decided on a jungle fabric.  It had to have a pocket on for his spoons and rolling pin.

So sweet,  He'll make some lucky girl a great husband one day,  I'll have to teach him to iron when he's big enough to reach the board!!!!
